Great quiet recreational area with boat access, campsites in the summer, and a ton of picnic tables.
Has a small, single lane boat launch with a floating dock that can accommodate one or two boats. It's rarely busy here and there is generally plenty of parking. There's a decent outhouse if you need it, and some playground equipment to keep the kiddos occupied while you're putting the busy in the water. There aren't any fees here, and TWRA does a good job keeping an eye on that area. I've used it dozens of times.
